You guys don’t have the Crab Gnocchi. Must be too much to ship in and keep etc.

I highly recommend the longbone, but I waited until I got it on special. $90 for a steak is a lot.

Sides come family style.

I wonder if the pricing is different?

$90 steak the fucking chief is blowing me under the table, gargling and swallowing fucking proper.

And I’ve always been in a suit (sometimes a tie, sometimes no tie) when I’ve gone to these place.

Capital Grille is also good, and has a “dressed down” section. But not as good as DF or Bobby Van’s IMO.

I go to these places so rarely I don’t mind paying that much. But you best believe if the shit isn’t 100% perfect I’ll send it back 3 ro 4 times. I don’t give a fuck. For $90 I’ll send it back until it is perfect.

If some junior chef is on training and fucks up my 100$ steak I’ll be heated.

Meat prices seemed the same in Houston and Boston.

Okay, one thing that pisses me off is that all the apps are seafood. Why is that the norm in fancy restaurants? The rest of us, who can’t stand seafood, like appetizers too, you know.

Same here.

Luckily, it’s pretty hard for them to fuck up a rare/med rare steak.

I went to the Del Frisco’s out here for a holiday party last year. I don’t remember the food being particularly special, but we were likely on the “bottom of kitchen floor” menu.

Never been to a Ruth’s but I heard it is below Capital Grille, which is below Del’s whihc is below Bobby’s IMO.

You live in CO. With all that thin air I don’t think they know what good steak is.

We’re cattle country, we do the steaks. Y’all out there on the coasts do the fishy things. That’s just the way it is.

Speaking of which, how’s the wife? Not much time left, eh?

Y you no like fishes?

The rock and pool,
is nice and cool,
so juicy sweet.

Our only wish,
to catch a fish,
so juicy sweet!

so when y’all put a clever phrase followed by a .jpg (ie challengeaccepted.jpg) is that some meme that I missed out on?

God I need to be internet social again

Ah, okay.

So it’s a full moon tonight. Anyone else noticing their kids or co-workers or pets being a little crazy? My dog has been freakin’ nuts today but I think that has to do with the drop in temperature. He isn’t much of an outside dog. There is snow predicted for Ohio tonight! It was 70 just two days ago.
