OK so for anyone who has run 5/3/1… I just finished my first cycle and that was the first time I’ve had a “deload week” in my entire lifting life. After my first day of cycle 2 (yesterday) I have the craziest upper body DOMS I’ve ever experienced. I feel like I’ve never lifted before. Is this normal after a deload week?
Literally every muscle in my upper body is ablaze today.[/quote]
I run 5/3/1 for squats and deads; I am always sore after BBB assistance on squats, but the week after deloading is especially enjoyable.
Edit: Realized after posting that there is already an entire page discussing this
I’m late to the party.

I have decided not to lift this week. I was starting to dread it, that’s not the path to longevity.

Beginning of Summer semester. So it’s time. I’m just not where I want to be. You know how it goes.

This just in: I underestimated the united nations of 2busy.
Unless Scj and I get all brangelina and adopt a bunch of kiddos, we will most definitely not be catching up to 2busy.

It has been predicted that in 100 years over half the population of North America will be directly descended from 2Busy.

Nah, our kids are going to be genetically superior. Unless the fight takes place on a hockey rink, I’m not worried unless ours are outnumbered 10:1 or worse.

I would have to jerk off in the Los Angeles municipal water supply in order to impregnate the entire female population of the LA basin to catch up with him.
