One of my students today asked me if he had to turn in his assignment. He said he knew it all, and he didn’t want to put forth the effort of showing that he did.
Another student started crying because her sister called her stupid.

AHHH! I TEACH COLLEGE! [/quote]
My ex teaches at a college in Delaware and I loved hearing all of the retarded stories of students and their excuses for not handing in assignments. They would wonder why they were getting graded the way they were and argue with her… even though everything was explained in the SYLLABUS.

Ahahahahaha! Peaches! This is hilarious. dies laughing
The best was The Mighty Stu’s (who teaches illustration or animation at a college) story of a student approaching him after he gave her an F:
“Professor, you failed me…” (crying)
Stu: “No, you failed ME.”
That has to be the greatest response I’ve ever heard. Stu, I’m using that when I become a professor one day. I’ll be munching on a toasted poptart while I deliver the reply.
