No, we’re not. This place is dumb. They do everything bass ackwards…There is no logic to how they do things. They doubled the prices of food in the employee cafeteria because the owner wants to make it a profit center. WTF? Employee cafeterias are NOT meant to be profit centers! Everyone knows employee cafeterias operate at a loss or break even. It’s like in day one of business 101 classes. Besides, if they are offering a cheesesteak “at cost” to us for $4.25 and charging the players in the restaurant $7.25, that’s not much of a mark up. That doesn’t even cover the gas to deliver the bread…food is always marked up 200-300%…
We dropped $32M in slot revenue alone, for the month of May. After taxes, that’s like $17M…do NOT tell me we are losing money so badly they need to gouge the employees for food…They’re just cheap Asian bastards who think we’re all like the illegal aliens working in the stables who won’t complain and are just happy to have a job…no offense to anyone Asian…

Table games became legal in PA in July 2010…we’re the most profitable casino in 3 states…we are not losing money. We are, however, losing 4-5 dealers a week because this place sucks. They do not take care of the employees. Day off requests are pending until the week before. You can’t plan a life if you can’t plan ahead. No one can afford to buy plane tickets or hotel rooms with one week’s notice. I’ve never worked for a place where the “human” part of Human Resources is so very lacking. One employee who was trying to come back to work after an injury was told that the person in HR who was taking care of him did not return voicemails so he just needed to call back every 30 minutes or so and hope she was in her office and not on the phone. And since this person was already in contact with him NO one else was allowed to help him, once someone answers your phone call, that person, and ONLY that person can talk to you.
Oh, and if you complain? You get written up. This one dealer asked if he could deal a different game because he had been dealing blackjack for 2 weeks straight and wanted a change in pace…he got written up for it.
I’m going to stop now before I go ballistic, but I hope you see what I’m talking about.

I’ve been trying to expose myself to a lot of early Christian History from all sources and it’s been fun. Currently listening to some Phillip Cary lectures on Christian Theology.
