I’ll tell ya a story that may or may not shed some light on my theory.
So I go to my aluma for recruiting. And the head admin who runs the jobs fair is chatting with me. Now I work for A&B firm out of Boston. Well her lackey keeps talking about Jonez & Bonez out of Worcester.
Well students are starting to come by, and this guy is still talking about how great Jonez and Bonez is. And how they sponsor this and sponsor that, how they hire X amount of people, how great the partners are. At first i just nodded and tried to let this blow hard finish, then I started cutting off his sentences to get him to stop. But he didn’t get the point.
Finally I looked at him, in front of his boss and two students and was like “Jeffery, I’m not sure if you noticed, but I don’t work for Jonez & Bonez. I’m glad your happy with them, but their table is over there. If you really feel the need to talk about them anymore, please go do it over there. I’m actually here to promote my own firm. Thanks.”
Dude was pretty upset, but I couldn’t take it anymore.

Hmm, I knew that Bonez was a sneaky bastard but I had no idea he controlled things in the real world not just T-Nation forums.
