Because the gym is the only fully stocked gym in a 150 mile radius and no one in the area is serious about lifting. Well, besides the two power lifting clubs that use the gym (not counting the intramural clubs for each fraternity) and the dozen or so amateur bodybuilders that use it. They are moving the equipment, which took eight hours to actually move, to another building.
