Well, how did yo say the comliment? You always have to tell IH compliments while batting your lashes and acting “cute”.

I just donated blood, I do it regularly and apparently my veins are sick of it. I usually use one in my left arm, well, today, it was not wanting to be poked. She poked, got nothing, adjusted, got nothing, had her boss adjust, got a trickle, and then had to adjust again to finally get into the vein to get my more normal flow.

I don’t have trouble with the wooziness or anything usually, but man, taking that long made me start feeling a little light. Ugh.
Can you ask to have blood taken while lying down? I usually request that when I get blood tests that require no food for the previous 6 hours. Normally, not eating for 3 hours usually gets me light-headed anyway, so 6 hours PLUS having a volume of blood taken is definitely a combination that might have me on the floor.

lol

I guess my interpretation of cute (wearing a ballerina skirt, combat boots, pink feather boa, and red suspenders) is different than his…and I batted my eyelashes for over an hour.

Closed answer: Yes

Fergie, yes. I had a tech tell me that when I do a 12 hour fast to make sure I drink a lot of water before I come in because dehydration makes it hard for them to get into the veins. I’m assuming PMPM is normally a hydrated person. I had one blood draw attempt that caused me to hit the floor after their third attempt. I had no food or drink in me at all for about 15 hours and I was there to comtemplate popping my kid out. As I regained consciousness another tech was jamming that sucker in and I couldn’t even feel it. My kidneys decided to stop functioning so an emergency c-section ensued (under general anesthesia since they had to go fast). Fun times. Good thing I like that boy of mine because his entrance into this world was rather dramatic.

I wasn’t just a blood draw, it was a donation, the full pint. They always have us recline.

The plebotomist said that felt some scar tissue on that vein, I think I’ve just used it for like, the last 10 times I’ve donated. I’ll give it a rest and go to the other arm.

Hmmm…just saw a clip from the real life Big Love family. One of the wives, when asked about the normalcy of her life, says “Really, how normal are normal American families?” Which is a good point. There is no such thing as the “normal American family”.

True Greeny. I’m of a mind these days that I don’t care how people live their lives as long as they aren’t hurting anyone. Friend of mine back in Michigan said hey in 10 years if you’re still single you should just live with the hubby and I and I said, sure, why not?

There’s no topics of any importance ever talked about in here. It’s all about lolcats, buttsecks, whining and crying about stuff, and can’t forget Wol and his love for The Expendables. Oh and there’s occasionally a funny pic put up by IH.

It’s basically the “GAL” thread of the “GAL” forum.

Make sense?
Occasional?? :frowning:
Ok, so maybe “occasional” wasn’t the right word. Even if 1:4 are funny (and by funny I mean hilarious, not just a chuckle), you put upwards of a million pics a day, every couple hours a great one shows up. Make sense?

And don’t be sad big guy, you know I <3 you
Back-handed compliments FTW!!

<3 you too!!

Ah… good stuff.

Both watching and being watched can be really erotic.

Your son is lucky…I wouldn’t throw up that kind of money unless my kid was showing ALOT of effort. I hardly got jack shit from my mom and now I know it was for the better.
