Highlight of my day:
Went to the eye doctor and there was this middle-aged woman who was crying because she didn’t want the eye doctor to “touch her eye.” She was sobbing and begging for mercy, I believe.
I felt sorry for my doctor, but I kept making jokes with him to make him feel better about his crazy patient.
Honestly, I’ve never seen someone cry over the eye doctor; not for a routine check-up. She acted like he was going to scoop out her eyeball with a spoon.
Anyway, I laughed the whole time.

New Disturbed album… Eh. doesn’t have that same instant “I FUCKING LOVE THIS SHIT” like sickness and Indestructible.
But the documentary that comes with the itunes deluxe version is worth the extra couple bucks.

They are all older and having kids and shit, but if you watch the documentary they aren’t as douche-y as one would expect at this point.
I’ve seen some metalica interviews that make the Disturbed guys look like poor wannabes still struggling to get their first gig.
The album does show some “mellowing out”, but that happens to most people with age and success.
