Twinge in my lower trap yesterday afternoon progressed into a full on spasm that went up my neck and accross my upper chest, urgent care punted me to the ER and I got worked up not for a back spasm, but for a possible cardiac event.
All the while my pulse, ekg, O2 sats stayed sound and steady.
All while two heart enzyme labs were drawn, 4 hours apart
All while I sat on a gurney for a total of 7 hours, not getting to bed till 2:00 am.
All while I wasn’t provided a muscle relaxer or even an NSAID since they wanted to observe my pain during the entire time.

I’m all for conservative observation, especially when it comes to chest pain, but it still sucked, and I’m freaking’ exhausted today.

So for anatomy lab yesterday we had sexual reproduction things planned. I was a little excited to attend lab this time for a change, until i ran across two unfortunate pictures that fortunately for me i don’t remember due to my special ability to block out all unpleasantness. So i was thinkin that we would get to look at some nice pictures of real living women for study purposes, but fuck no.
They had cadaver pictures instead. Motherfuckers! It was difficult for me not to ask the cute lab assistant to pose for me to take away the sting of disturbing imagery. But alas, i knew i had to leave class early and go home and look up nude models on my own for study purposes. It was kindof interesting listening to this cute little minx talk about the vulva and it’s related anatomical references as well as the backdoor. It was also funny when she stumbled around how to say how the hymen goes away. She basically said umm goes away. Lol
