An Irish cafe opened up 20 paces from our front door. Open 9AM to Midnight, Guinness on tap, or for something lighter, Kilkenny or Smitticks. Full English brunch (AM) or hanger steak & puddin’ (PM).
so in all, a 1 minute walk to get there, and about a 20 minute stagger to get home. win-win-win.

IIRC, in a bid to reduce sectarian infighting, they may have omitted pancakes & waffles from the menu… French toast was on offer, but at our brunch table, the 7 of us stopped reading after the first item on the menu.
the big decisions were: scrambled or sunny side up, & Guinness or Strongbow before 1pm. (it turned out to be Guinness before 1, Strongbow after)
Next week, I think I’ll try the Strongbow before 1, and the Guinness after. It’s a wonderful world of choice, it is.
They also had Stellas & a Wine list available for you know, teh ghey.

i can’t remember much after the above incident resulted in skull crackage. but I really, really had to pee! I also might have said something along the lines of “f*** you fascist pigs” when they walked up behind me, but that wouldn’t have anything to do with it right?
