They’re all dead Dave.
Everybody’s dead Dave.
Dave, Everybody’s dead!
Dead is everybody, Dave.

That’s very cool. My first James T!
I love that kind of twisted humor, especially on the holidays.
Damn, it’s been slow around here…

This is the first year we haven’t done anything at all for Christmas, it’s a bit weird, but not.
Hope you all are having weird but not days too (because that’s how family time in general goes)!
This is probably the weirdest Christmas i’ve ever had, but it’s fine with me. It’s almost just another day.
You’re definitely right about the family thing, pch2. Personally, i’m good for visiting 2 to 3 hours max, then I start feeling claustrophobic.
It seems that ‘SOMEbody’ got the nephews a starter weight set, they were already jazzed and hyper, then they were mental. The chocolate covered coffee beans, probably didn’t help. Anyhoo, while playing keep away with the 3 of them for an hour or so, I remembered why I usually try to end up turtled.
I didn’t see it coming, but I heard the crunch after nephew #2 did a seat drop on my face. Play time stopped pretty quick after that.
Aside from that, my loot included: Bates 2261s - I could write a testimonial, Muscle Logic - Har-Har (in a good piratey way), a ‘Butch’ baby sling - ie: cordura (sp) and carabiners, etc, and nerd alert might - have Fallout 3 en route. hee-hee-hee.[/quote]
When I was in high school, I used to get my younger cousins all stirred up and then go home. It used to piss off my aunt just a bit, since it would take a while for them to calm down.
How old are your nephews? I can’t understand why a bloody nose would cause the fun to stop. Jam a tissue up there and keep playing:)
finally back!
saw my dad’s side of the family for the first time since my parents split. I haven’t seen some of these people in about 10 years.
my two cousins that I used to toss up on my shoulders and spin around until they felt ill, are in college or graduated already.
people wouldn’t shut up about how big I was and kept grabbing my arms and shit.
which was cool at first, but got old after a while.
at least their was a ton of high quality protein - prime rib and salmon - which of course set people up too remark on how much I ate…
so yeah, weird but not bad.
Christmas with mom on Sunday.

well, I don’t drink, so I would substitute some more spices for the rum, but it seems like a good recipe to me…

4,6 & 8, but at the 6 year old’s last hockey game he took an undeserved penalty for high sticking, and couldn’t handle the injustice of it. I had to spend a bit of time explaining to him that I had been asking for it.
I’ve had a few nosebleeds before, this one was a lot of blood. (not snowman blood…but a fair bit)

You don’t really seem surprised.
ooooooooooo…123!
re: the parent’s nightmare, my kids got: 0 electronic noisemakers, 0 musical instruments. HAR!
I’m off to take my 16" tall dog through 18" snow drifts in an attempt to get him to take a dump. Yesterday he was porpoising through the snow, and took a header into a fence.
tootles, re: the cooking, try for a ‘perfect’ omelette. it can take a year to really get a genuine one right, but even if it doesn’t look perfect, each one = more protein.

Ha!! That’s one of the only things I’ve known how to make well for awhile now is an omelette. Sometimes when I’m lazy it’s an omelette mess. It still tastes the same!!

When? Now?
Define “parent’s nightmare”.
I’m a nice guy. Too nice, probably.

You are the family member who’s sole job on the holidays is to rile up the kids (jack them up on caffiene, run around the house). Am I right??
