No haven’t been married but my folks are divorced. I can see where its a downer. However I never saw either of my parents wallow in self pity. If he has been married for more than 10 years it takes a few years to get over that especially with kids. Plus its the internet, very hard to make accurate assumptions on how someone is IRL. I can relate because I was divorced dad and my head was all fucked up for a couple of years, I had a really great friend that was there to slap me around.
