How?
I’m glaring at you, too.
I don’t know.
I progressed slowly.
I didn’t try lifting heavy.
If I felt strain there, I backed off.
The area where the ventral hernia repair was done (between navel and ribs) does not tighten with rest of my abs anymore and I have some pain there.
The area in the upper right corner where the patch was tacked has been a sore spot but was getting better. It’s gone backwards now, more pain/burning sensation when I press overhead.
I skipped hockey tonight
I see the doc next Tuesday
You can always just stop exercising until you are completely healed. The core is used for pretty much everything. Hopefully you wont need more surgery.

Hey, Derek, I had to do a fasted blood draw this morning for lipids. At 6am I got up, let the dog out, drank about 1/2 cup of egg whites and ate five grapes, went back to sleep, and later woke up and remembered the appt. They took the blood anyway. What impact will my food have on the panel?

Yes.
They do it fasting because they want to see what your cholestrols and liver enzymes are. When you eat it activates the liver so the enzymes will be higher than baseline and the cholesterols will be off. Also since you ate the grapes your fasting Glucose will be higher or lower than baseline, according to how much insulin was produced with the carb ingestion.

I will restate this so any Ginger can understand:
PMPM guzzled a half cup of semen and now her blood test will show she is a skanky ho.

Also PMPM, basically they made where they can charge your insurance company twice, cause as soon as the Doc finds out this was not fasting he will want a redraw.
