This afternoon I will have to reprimand one of the employees in my department. The anticipation of conflict makes me feel uncomfortable, which is strange because I am normally a no-bullshit kind of person. It seems I have a hard time confronting people whom I care about.

This is never easy, I have a bunch the same way. Much harder than someone that you know they are just there for a paycheck etc.
No advice you either know how to do this or you dont. Lord knows I think I have all my staff crying in my office at least once.

Think of something they do that irks you, dwell on it for a few hours. Skip your afternoon coffee, smoke, dip, etc etc etc, and lay the fuck into them. Take out all your job stress on their poor unsuspecting soul and enjoy their tears. Their tears fuel your existence.

This is pretty brilliant, actually. I’m not a confrontational kind of guy, and when I do get into it with someone, I have instant rage issues and want to absolutley DESTROY their fucking soul, and can’t easily hide it, but I try and stay quiet. I get all flustered and hot feeling, and I know my face gets redder than Edgy’s hair. The feeling after the “discussion” is almost better than sex though. Almost.
Next time I need to correct-a-fool, I’ll dwell on it for a while and EXPLODE!
