Trav, i’m not a goddamned praying mantis, ok?

I sleep nekkid, too.

Beans: That’s some funny shit!

My mom’s the type who will buy me some shirts and sweaters, see what I wear most, then, next Christmas, i’ll get all that type of shirt or sweater.

It’s been sweaters for the past 3 years. I never think to mention that I don’t need anymore sweaters…EVER, until it’s too late.

I got a couple of cheap T-shirts as “throw-in gifts(?)” from my mom for my birthday. One has the PERFECT softness, like already broken in. I don’t think she expected me to be THAT excited.

The other is a Dale Jr. shirt. We both looked at each other and gave the “I don’t know” shrug at the same time. for me NASCAR places somewhere below table tennis for watchability.

Worm silly bastard, I loled hard at the head exploding picture. If you get 5 mins will you run down a typical back day for you? No need for weights if you don’t want, I’m just curious of your set up.

Hungreh, lollerskates. Did you not get the HM PM?[/quote]

i’ve got no problem with sharing, but i don’t write anything down (or keep a log) so you have to bear with me if it seems unstructured. i’ll also leave out weight values because I don’t even know how much i’ll be lifting until i’m standing in front of the weight.

I always start with pull ups, and then alternate a horizontal/vertical order for my exercises.

ALSO: as you can see from my avatar, my lower lats are much more developed than my upper back. i’m trying to correct this problem, so my routine will reflect this. hopefully.

Pull ups/weighted pull ups 3x10-12 or failure
Hang clean 3-4x8-12
Hammer Iso Pulldown 3-4x6-10 (underhand grip)
Hammer Low Row 3-4x6-10 (with a backwards lean to hit lower traps/upper back)
Tbar row or high Smith Machine rows 3x8-12
some sort of cable high-pull. i tend to go by “feel” for these.

then some direct biceps work.

I think that’s everything. possibly.

Can you ballpark some of the hang clean weight or as a % of max? for me I’m either going heavy for low reps (3 or less) or low weight (like #85-115’s) for higher reps (10ish) as part of a complex.

i usually start with 100lbs and move up to 135. this is something i just recently started doing, so i’m more worried about form and feel. i’ll worry abou adding weight later. my full power clean max is 200, but i don’t really use percentages for this lift (or any lift at all tbh)

Question: Has anyone here worked for a VC, and if so what’s it like?

Viet Cong? You could always ask Epic Beard Man.

If however, you mean Venture Capitalists, the closest I’ve come has been setting up routers & printers for a couple of small software developers. So not really lenders or anything, just companies working with a ‘speculative’ money source. I made sure to promptly hand-deliver the bill to the ‘CEO’ both times. The one who paid on time is now out of business, the one who didn’t is still going…

COD:MW2 is $65 here, so I think I might give it a pass for now, and go for Borderlands next. Have I solicited an opinion here, on how Fallout-ish worthy it is yet? (I’ve forgotten who I’ve asked now & am getting reviews that are all over the place)

Mad ducky, Shortly after getting fallout 3 the introduce the “game of the year edition” with all the downloadable content included for free. So, If I want the content I can either shell out another $50 on top of the original $60 for the game, or buy the new one for $60.

The video game industry is heading in the same direction as the music and movie before it.

Fallout was a great game.
COD:MW2 is also great.

I just played the demo of God of War 3…OMFG!! Pre-ordered it.

Point Lookout/Broken Steel seems to break some things in FO3.

yeah, but those are mostly end game things. point lookout is a maxed out character “dungeon” while Broken Steel is literally the end of the game.

so by the time you’re playing these two, balance isn’t really a big deal since you’re already an all powerful bad(or good)ass.

do explain

just some overpowered weapons and perks are added. the double barreled shotgun alone does like 90 damage.

I already have the alien blaster and the fire lance along with the more powerful versions of all the weapons, including the experimental MIRV…Nothing in the game really stands a chance against me.
