so weve been dealing with A LOT of shit lately, bad news bears type bad, and if i must say so myself ive handled it very well, and maturely. Im a realist and also tend to say what i want regardless of other persons feelings, because well thats not my problem, but given these hard times i decided to keep mean thoughts to myself for the most part and take care of the situation as i see fit. which i did, minus the verbal breakdown of people lol. have had a few minor slip ups, but given the circumstances harsh words were needed.
got home from work tonight and my mother, yes my mother and yes i live at home, suck it!! had got me a little gift to say thanks for dealing with everything so well and helping out so much, it wasnt her issues but other family, and its an ongoing shit storm. i appreciated it greatly. Kind of feel bad, since i didnt need anything, i take care of my own regardless, but ive been non stop working lately, making no money, since most of it is for school, and she thought this would be a nice little gift. Really nice gesture i thought. Still feel bad since im an adult-ish and just dealt with adult problems as such lol but its the little things in life that keep ya going and this was one of them.
Little victories people, they get you through the day. While going through your day if something really small happens it can be mundane but for some reason puts a smile on your face, thats what i call a little victory. One a day is the goal sometimes you get more but im telling ya think about it and bam youll notice them and start to like them haha. I had 2 today, doing big things since 1989!!!
not to get all, yano, with the little victories i think of it more as a joke and always laugh and bring it up to people when they happen but im telling ya it works.
I make my own little victories…called half pound of ambrosia before bed. Goodnight.
