See, this is what defense attys love, thinking like “well we don’t know exactly how she died, or it should be perfectly normal to do google searches of chloroform…” There is only 1 reason chloroform is used, to knock people out. That’s it. If the child drowned, why did they wait 30 days to report it, why did they duct tape a body that died drowning, why did the mother go out partying that very night, why does the car stink of human decay (with tests proving it was human decay)?
I gotta disagree with Beans here, I mean I would rather the jury just say that they didn’t want to kill Casey Anthony, I would at least believe that. Not even guilty on child neglect.
They have now given the blue print for how to get away with murder, bury the body and hope it decays enough to where testing is hindered.
Next order of business…12 lobotomies.

Dude you are letting your emotion cloud your better judgement.
You can’t blame the fucking jurors for following the LAW. You can only blame the DA for having a shitty case with nothing but circumstantial evidence. On top of the fact that these 12 people you are wishing death and dismemberment upon have to live with their choice for the rest of their lives. You have the luxury of a) not having to make the choice to end someone’s life based on circumstantial evidence and b) not being in the court room and not hearing everything that was said and presented.
People are innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. The defense provided reasonable doubt.
This case isn’t going to make murder easier, it isn’t going to change the criminal element at all. It will, hopefully, show DA’s that they need to get their fucking shit together.
Keep in mind I have a 13 year old and another on the way. This case weighs heavy on my heart and mind… But if a guilty woman got away, then the DA fucked up. If she was innocent then the justice system works. The jurors have the torture of this choice to live with for the rest of their lives. They don’t need arm chair quarterbacking from every American with an opinion.
It is, will always be, and always was the DA’s responsibility to provide proof. The juror responsible to society to provide a verdict based on the evidence, within the law. The law requires the DA to prove beyond a reasonable doubt… The DA failed to do that, and these 12 people returned the verdict they had to, not only under law, but under the principle of freedom this country is founded upon.
But then again, fuck it, lets sentence people life in prison or death, based on hunches and “it certainly seems like she did it”… Yeah, lets turn America into Iran. Better yet, once News Channel 5 says you did it, BAM you get the needle, sure as shit saves a lot of dough on trials and all that justice bullshit…
