has anyone here gone to NY for New Years? Is it overrated? Seems like it might be.

My closet lesbian sister-in-law went a few years. she said it sucks because all you do is hang around standing up and there are WAY TOO MANY people in a small area. Have you ever been to times square?
I, too, have heard this and it sounds too close to what my idea of what my own personal hell would be like…except, colder. You’re trapped in a sea of humanity, where you can’t move and you’re trapped with drunk people, who are swimming in their own urine…

Plus, the trying to get a room somewhat close by, would probably be expensive as hell.

I’ll pass, thank you.
You could be working the switchboard at Gold’s…

This week will be normal, no one is ready for us yet. Next week hell begins. By March, I’ll be eating the heads of interns off their shoulders.

Working for me sucks if you are stupid. But if you are quick and motivated, we can get a shit ton done and laugh the whole time.

Oh man, couldn’t resist.

Too funny

I’ve been there once. Complete sensory overload. Too much bright shit, peddlers everywhere mingled with the smell of sewage and exhaust. Coming from a relatively suburbish area, it blew my mind.

Yeah, we are good peeps! I feel bad for those Flyer fans who rode their bike all the way to Boston to see the game. :stuck_out_tongue:
