Okay, no lie. My Great Aunt was researching our family tree, and it turns out that I do have ancestors who came over on the Mayflower. True story.

Morning! No Turkey for me this year, can’t afford to go anywhere and no family in the country. Instead I will finish 110 pages worth of final projects and coast the rest of the semester!

Back in the Philippines, my brother was going to school in Bellingham but he’s visiting home too. I suppose I have a half-sister in England but that’s a bit far too.
Do you have big plans for Turkey day?
big family thing, Son’s coming in from Seattle Tomorrow, so we pick him up and head straight to the festivities.
good stuff, I suppose. Better than hanging around by myself, but Family can be draining.
Then more family coming over on Friday to see my sons.

Oh yeah, family gatherings are always super fun… nothing like listening to the same gossip that’s been going on for 5 years.
