Matters what you consider Hispanic, I’m not Mexican, I’m Spanish. But, half of my Spanish people have red hair, green eyes and freckles, and the other half more of Latin (Roman Empire Latin, not Latino-Latin) look to them. Probably not considered what others consider Hispanic. However, my Black Irish people are (of course black hair) pretty Latin as well, olive skin, square jaw, green/blue eyes, tall motherfuckers on both sides. I came up short compared to my mother’s side, about five inches short.

Found out that I may be moving to another base soon. If so, I’d rather it happen sooner than later. And I learned the hard way that I’m not yet ready to kick again. That was a painful lesson.

Oh Beast, we learned the coolest thing in class. Have you been watching ultimate fighter? Apparently when guys are pinned against the cage, GSP keeps yelling control the wrist, so someone asked about it. It turns out that if you can get ahold of the wrist of the underhooking arm, he can’t keep you pinned. It worked really well, push the elbow down, slide down the arm to the wrist then turn out to that side. I don’t know if it’s common knowledge, but I was impresssed

It’s very simple, but very effective. Most people don’t think of it, as they are too focused on the clinch itself, or a possible flurry. It’s usually the simple things that fall by the wayside first in a fight. That’s something you’ll want to keep practicing, too. Get it to where it becomes muscle memory.
Those of you with longer hair, what’d you do with it when you sleep? Mines getting past shoulder length and it’s everywhere. It keeps getting trapped. Hair ties keep getting lost as I move.
