I always get bummed out at teacher conferences. Because my kid doesn’t cause trouble (at the moment, I always have to put that disclaimer in), teachers feel the need to spend a minute or two so they can spend more time with the problem kids/parents. If I am alotted 10 min with each teacher, I would at least like 5 min and them not say, “I really don’t have much to say about your child”.
No wonder why kids act out these days.
I do not get it…

Be thankful you don’t have issues with your child. We’ve got a meet on Friday with a teacher who had to rearrange her schedule to accommodate ours. Should be good times.

I can understand your frustrations. It’s never a good thing to hear from a teacher.

I know but I think the teachers should have something to say to each parent if it’s teacher conference night. Only two out of five teachers had something to say and one teacher even took someone else during my time because a parent couldn’t stay at the school any longer for her alotted time(??).
Sorry to sound like a whiner!

My father did it best, he stopped after the second parent teacher conference. When they would contact him about it, he would ask Is this a mandatory thing that you have to do, or do you have something about my child that I need to know? They’d usually answer well I have to talk to you about your child? He’d reply, "If I go down there, and you just tell me one more time that my child is doing fine and you have nothing else to say after two minutes of talking I’m gonna be mad. And, you don’t wanna see HULK mad!!!
Never had to go to those stupid things ever again.
Chris is the Son-Of-Hulk?
this is a good thing to know. ya’know?

So this is my first winter after losing 40 pounds. I’m WAY colder than I’ve ever been before. I thought more muscle would mean I’d be warmer. Turns out fat is a good insulator. Now I have to wear a coat and gloves when it’s 40 degrees out. Last year I would just wear my suit jacket and be plenty warm around town. Go figure.
Now you’re only hotter in looks, not temperature :D
One of the many reasons I <3 you!

Wol, is that you?!?!?!
Last Friday there was a dead ginger kitty next to my front door. We have a cat colony outside and it was only a matter of time before this happened. ):
