What can you do about it… I suggest some repeated positive self talk. Anytime you hear yourself thinking something negative actively replace it with a positive though. Like “I’m so glad I can trust new boy and not worry about him being away this weekend” “gosh me and new boy have so much fun we really like each other a lot”. Sounds stupid? Maybe… but its a hell of a lot better than getting the negativity on a self loop in your head you’ll probably overreact/freak out over nothing sometime soon if you let that happen. Bottom line this is your issue and it is going to take some time to get over… it’ll be worth it though so start really trying to get over it.
