OH SNAP!!!
You met the parents?
This is some seriously epic shit…
I remember the first time meeting family. It typically was okay, it took time for me to hate my mother-in-law
Did ya see mah squatz video Imhungry?
Yup, we all went out to dinner and it was nice. I was feeling like garbage and my nose was running like a faucet the whole time. Very sexy, I know.
As many times as i’ve met gf’s parents, I always feel like i’m a stupid kid again. They seem like really good people, though.
Yes, I saw the squat video, Beans.
I used to do them pretty much the same exact way, and my ass used to get such a huge pump, but my legs… not so much. Plus, I have a shitty lower back, so I had to keep refining my form to keep the pressure off of my back and ass. Once I got to squating over 400 for reps at about a bodyweight of 195 pounds, I had to get rid of free weight squats and do all the other variations, because my back and hips were giving me a lot of problems.
I’d venture to say that you might run into the same sort of issues, eventually. Hopefully not.
I’m really reluctant to even hit the “submit” button, because training to me is such a personal thing, and I don’t want to come off as a know it all, since I don’t.(this is one of the main reasons why I RARELY post in the bodybuilding threads) But, at the same time, i’ve learned 99% of what I know through trial and error. Protecting your joints is SO important, if you’re in this for the long haul.
I can’t fucking believe I made this such a complicated reply. See, i’m trying to get my own ass in shape, again, and this has been on my mind, as far as remembering what I used to do, but now I have to totally revamp everything, since things aren’t what they used to be. I guess what i’m saying is that you want to stay focused and remember that it’s not a race.
I’ll stop there…
I know what your trying to say, and appreciate your input.
Now post some fuckin cat pics…
That pic is hilarious. My manager actually did that to his mom in a crowded grocery store. He was 3-4 years old, wanted something, she said no and proceeded to haul him outside, and he started yelling to let him go and she wasn’t his mom…which was actually the truth, he’s adopted, but he didn’t know that at the time. She told the police (yes the police were called) that they might want to turn around so she couldn’t be charged with child abuse when she beat his ass. The cops told her to go right ahead, they woulda done the same thing. You gotta love Texas, huh?
