I know you’re kidding Rock…

In any case, creativity never goes out of style. Keep it going.

So…

How was your tryst? Are you guys still lovers & friends?

Tryst?

We’re in a relationship, my good man. I even met her parents Wednesday night.

But, yes. We’re both lovers and friends… The problem was that I got a shitty cold after a couple of being there. Then, Grneyes got it Wednesday night, I think.

Then, Grneyes got it Wednesday night.

aww snap!

Yes, the first couple of days he was injured and sick, then we were both well for about 3 days, then I got sick the last couple days and am still sick. I even called off from work today. The tiger has MUCH to pay for when I visit him in January. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

OH SNAP!!!

You met the parents?

This is some seriously epic shit…

I remember the first time meeting family. It typically was okay, it took time for me to hate my mother-in-law

Two pages in a row I’m the top post… FTW!

Did ya see mah squatz video Imhungry?

Yup, we all went out to dinner and it was nice. I was feeling like garbage and my nose was running like a faucet the whole time. Very sexy, I know.

As many times as i’ve met gf’s parents, I always feel like i’m a stupid kid again. They seem like really good people, though.

Yes, I saw the squat video, Beans.

I used to do them pretty much the same exact way, and my ass used to get such a huge pump, but my legs… not so much. Plus, I have a shitty lower back, so I had to keep refining my form to keep the pressure off of my back and ass. Once I got to squating over 400 for reps at about a bodyweight of 195 pounds, I had to get rid of free weight squats and do all the other variations, because my back and hips were giving me a lot of problems.

I’d venture to say that you might run into the same sort of issues, eventually. Hopefully not.

I’m really reluctant to even hit the “submit” button, because training to me is such a personal thing, and I don’t want to come off as a know it all, since I don’t.(this is one of the main reasons why I RARELY post in the bodybuilding threads) But, at the same time, i’ve learned 99% of what I know through trial and error. Protecting your joints is SO important, if you’re in this for the long haul.

I can’t fucking believe I made this such a complicated reply. See, i’m trying to get my own ass in shape, again, and this has been on my mind, as far as remembering what I used to do, but now I have to totally revamp everything, since things aren’t what they used to be. I guess what i’m saying is that you want to stay focused and remember that it’s not a race.

I’ll stop there…

I put no stock in religion! By the word religion I’ve seen the lunacy of fanatics of every denomination be called the will of god! Holiness is in right action & courage on behalf of those who cannot defend themselves. Goodness, what God desires is in a man’s mind and his heart. What you decide to do everyday will determine whether you’re a good man or not

Yes, we were given freewill and the freedom to make our own choices. Religion should be a personal thing, where NOBODY should be judged on their choices in life. Unless, you are a truly bad person. People should find their own path to religion, if they’re so inclined… As opposed to following blindly, just because that’s what they were told to do.

Just because you aren’t “religious”, it doesn’t make you a bad person. Being a good and decent human being, is more important than following some sort of organized religion.

It’s too damn early to be having this sort of conversation… I’m barely coherent. If the previous doesn’t make any sense… fuck it.

IT’S MONDAY!!!

I will give you a more thought out reply later. Probably a PM, if mine work.

(I think they do.)

I was playing Madden last night, okay I was getting my ass kicked last night in Madden. That is why I didn’t respond

It’s cool, Beans. I wasn’t totally serious, but I was expecting more from you.

Glad you’re feeling better. Being layed up for even a couple of days can be a mind-fuck when you’re trying to make any kind of progress in the gym.

PM’s have been a hit or miss (usually, a miss) with me. It’s annoying as hell.

The honest truth is, my body is getting older and my recovery fucking blows at this calorie level. I’m having a hard time adjusting to this, and stubbornly keep pushing myself. So why I did listen to you, I probably won’t, because I’m a stubborn asshole.

My hips hurt when I was squatting 2 and 3 times a week last year. Now, as long as I only pull or squat once every 10 days they are fine.

Yup, me too. Even when I knew I had no good reason to be in the gym, because my nervous system was fried, I still had the mentality of "where my mind goes, the body will follow. I was wrong. If the shoe was on the other foot, I have no doubt that I wouldn’t listen either. I’m stubborn like that, also.

I guess what i’m saying is that as long as you listen to what your body is telling you, and just love doing what you do, then that’s the important thing. I’ve lost much of that passion and I miss it terribly.

You and the other young guys are reminding me of what I liked most about lifting and it’s motivating. Actually, the women in the PW threads are more inspiring than most of the guys on here. Just saying.

It’s time to get rid of this case of the “useta’s” and get my ass back in shape.

Another memory and I’m asking myself
why cant I let the past be the past.
Once and for all take a hold of the future
And not let it control what I aspire to have.
I see where my decisions have brought me
Whats done is done and its time to start again
Can’t let it tear me in two or waste me away
I gotta believe
Cause this is now
How can I change tomorrow if I can’t change today.
This is now
If I control myself I control my destiny.

What I’ve seen and what I’ve been through has made me who I am
There was a time in my life where I had no desire to carry on
I couldn’t see a place for me or a will to survive
I never thought to rely on myself or the beliefs that I have denied

But this is now
How can I can change tomorrow if I can’t change today
This is now
If I control myself I control my destiny

If I control myself I control my tomorrow
I got to change today
Cause this is now

How can I change tomorrow if I can’t change today.
I must control myself if I’m to control my destiny.

Cause this is now.

Cause this is now
How can I change tomorrow if I can’t change today.
This is now
If I control myself I control my destiny

GET TO WORK
