lol. It was painful. I think that given the coice between walking downa flight of stairs with a broken ankle or going down a flight of stairs after leg day (squats) I will choose the sprained ankle.

I sprained my ankle last week. It was bad enough that I had to go get it checked for breaks and even the doctor was amazed that nothing showed on the X-ray. So yea, yes I would.

RE: ankle injuries. Do whatever the Drs says, follow whatever else the Rehab people have to say about it. (I learned my lesson over about a 2 1/2 year span because I went with the “I’m fine. Who the fuck needs to see a Doctor about this. no seriously, I feel better already.”)
The doctor said to stay off it for two weeks and how am I supposed to deadlift with one foot then? I suppose I can consider seeing my family doctor for some rehab advice.
Drew I know what you mean about the stairs. After a good leg day, I’d say with every step, ouch, ouch. Listen to the Ducky about those ankles people! Ever look at just how small your ankle is compared to the rest of you? It’s amazing they work at holding us up! Cable guy here in 5! Yay!
Drew, there’s a guy who ended up in a cast on one leg and he posted videos of him doing one legged work and upper body work in the cast. Can’t remember his name, I PM’d him to tell he’s awesome but I think it was somewhere in the older BOI threads (before they got their troll free invite only group). Bottom line, get your ankle better so that you don’t end up never being able to do deads with good form ever again.

Now thats god damn scarry Deb. Still, its only tendons that tore. The doctor did say to let pain be my guide. So I’m almost fully functional again. Still cant run or jump but I sure can hobble pretty fast.
As a side note. My computer is on the fritz. Internet Explorer wont let me log into FB or hotmail. Or download anything. Firefox wouldnt open at all so I deleted it expecting to download a new version of it. Fuck.
