Go as fast as you can, because high rep squats suck balls.

And by that I mean slower so your form doesn’t break down.

That is my speed. And I have been known to take longer breaks to breath.

Okay, enough of that.
When I’m doing them, the first 6 to 8 are smooth and slow, I do a couple of clusters of 2 or 3
with long pauses for breathing, then it’s all singles & doubles. I start a bit of ‘rebounding’ out of the hole by about rep 11 or so, but it’s still a controlled movement.

In my first set I seem to be slower but as I get warmed up I go a bit faster but by my 4th set I’m having to pause for air.

I think my depth is as deep as I can get–my hams push against my calves.

I must have spent a significant period of time sleeping on my right arm, because I’m STILL barely able to lift it. I don’t think I’ll be doing Chest-Shoulders-Tris this evening.
I think I’ll do something a bit like a prowler, but I’ll be pushing a 35lb or so lump, and I’ll be going 2 or 3 kms, and it’s got wheels.
