That was a fake baby? Fuck I didnt even notice, didnt care, last I know when watching, it was about the war hero. It sucked me into the moment I wasnt glancing around the room bored to see what I could find out of place.

I should say that I had “procured” this to watch at home so MAYBE the fact that I had been drinking and didn’t have the focused environment of the theater may have contributed to my lack of interest. I thought Keaton did well and I like Norton but by the end of the movie I just found myself not caring anymore. Slow and artsy aren’t normally my forte either

Na it’s definitely not a movie you can float in and out of. I think if I’d tried to watch it at home with mates talking over it then I wouldn’t have cared as much.
Watched Dazed and Confused for the first time last night, how did I let this gem go by for so long. Reminds me alot of my high school years, kids wanting to get drunk, high, and laid.

Good point. I think each generation pushes the envelope in terms of crazy shit attempted while a teen. Kids was set in the mid 90’s. I’m thirty-three, and it’s a remarkably accurate portrayal of my teenage years. Dazed and Confused is one of the best flicks of the 90’s (and McConaughey’s first role I think), but the shit they were doing was tame for 7th graders in my era.
I loved Kids.

Watched Coherence a few nights ago.
It was recommended to me by friends who hyped it up a bit. I enjoyed it a lot, despite coming in with high expectations that didn’t play out.
This movie is perfect to watch with a friend(s) who love to discuss and dissect films. Spoiler: Physics.
Big Hero 6
They were showing it for free, and some of these flicks are pretty good (I thought Lego Movie was great).
It definatley had it’s moments of humor. Animation was decent. Story… well, pacing was good: they kept a decent balance between action and drama. However, it was pretty over-the-top sappy. It was chock full of cliches as well (“bad boy” goes straight), especially the plot twists (“SPOILER”: the mystery bad guy isn’t the person they tell you it’s going to be the entire movie). Character development was dreadful because it was done in such a half assed manner: all the supporting characters literally introduce themselves and their 1 dimensional interests over 30s.
All in all, the action and humor made this worth the watch; it’s probably more fun w/ kids. There was a lot more girls there than guys, so something must have appealed to them.

Very much agree. Plus, the various languages and accents were authentic and properly scripted. And the execution of the action scenes was, for a lack of a better word, mesmerizing.
