Some asshole in my office sent that clip around with the title, “smells like curry”. You know how in Outlook the subject line pops up on your screen automatically for a few seconds? I was showing a borrower some interest rates on my computer screen at that moment! He was Indian. I was trying to cover it up with my hand and act like I was pointing and shit! It was funny… Apparently he was more concerned with the rate, cuz I got the deal.

ha ha, that little pale window has owned me a few times before too. But at least the partners at my firm are really just wrinkly kids when clients aren’t around, or I would have been in trouble long before. Two Girls One Cup was watched by each male in our office at least once. (One intern ran to the bathroom heaving. ha ha, we pointed and laughed at him. That kid still thinks we are all sick fucks.)
I just wanted to second the props. No one ever gives the lineman any credit for the work they do until they need something from them. As an engineer in the electric utility sector, myself and my collegues are probably the most guilty of not giving thanks when they are do to the lineman, so once again - thanks.

That’s fine. Don’t care. But the post needs a warning for younger people, and people who just don’t feel like it’s funny. That way everybody who thinks it’s hilarious can go on about their business and talk about it without getting some unsuspecting teen, or anyone who doesn’t want to see something like that, scarred for life.

I’ve seen my fair share of dead and dying people. For a perfectly healthy man to grab onto an electrical cable, this should be a Darwin Award. I might be an “empty piece of shit” but at least I’m not so PC that I don’t have a sense of humor anymore. Tell me he was protesting a war or trying to make a statement on India’s growing need for cheep renewable electricity, and I might not think this is as funny.
