Electoral Politics: A Losing Game

I thought labor unions have far less power than they once did.

There we were at the Magic: The Gathering convention back in 1994, several months before I foolishly sold my Unlimited Power Nine cards for weed money. It was then that a man named Mike Lindell burst into the room, threatening to kill the nearby handicapped child. I was able to get him to agree to a game of riddles to settle the fate of the handicapped child. While he was distracted with my riddle, I hit him with an Osoto Gari, then 69’d him in north south before deranging his right shoulder with a vicious kimura.

I was awarded a mint-condition beta Black Lotus for my heroism and promptly re-acquired all of my dual lands and power nine cards, along with investing more of my teenage money into these and less into weed and MGD. All-in on bitcoin until the most recent peak. Retire early.

The end.

I really hope there’s a sequel. Better yet, this could be a new best-selling series.

Of course they do but they’re making a comeback.

Hey as long as you climaxed, that is what really matters.

Be careful. There was a time I would have robbed you for that card and felt no remorse.

Post Malone I guess paid like $500K for an alpha Black Lotus.

There are a lot of anti establishment politics in the conservative party. Heck you even had an anti establishment president with Trump, who moved a lot of stones. But obviously Americans voted for the most establishment president afterwards.

He wasn’t a typical politician in some ways but in others… He basically ran a campaign full of lies. He pretended to be a populist but what did he do for the people? Pretty much nothing. He gave his people a massive tax cut. Nothing but a representative for his class.

So…did he do nothing, or did he give a ā€œmassiveā€ tax cut?

As the post clearly states he gave ā€œhis peopleā€ a massive tax cut.

The nothing Trump did for me saved me about $2,500 per year in income taxes.

I was happy to have been one of his people. Did the liberals not get the same tax break that I received?

I wasn’t aware a tax cut could only be applied to ā€œhis peopleā€. So, did the law carve out a tax break for only those that voted for him?

How was this done exactly? Seems quite a feat of legal gymnastics.

And where did the vast majority of tax cuts go? And the words ā€œpretty muchā€ is an approximation. Quit pretending like you don’t know.

If you are part of the upper class, then yes you got the majority of the tax cut.

I never used the words ā€œpretty muchā€
Did you fall asleep?

I really hope you don’t expect me to know the exact number of income tax dollars and cents I saved each year.

ā€œHis peopleā€ are not those that voted for him but people of the same class, where the vast majority of the tax cuts went. Typical Republican economic solution. Give more to those who already have more than enough. Brilliant!

I am no where close to the upper class. I live in the same house I bought in 1985 that I paid $85,000.

No you didn’t but the post you responded to did. Did you fall asleep?
