Which is interesting, because a lot of it isnāt that she is terribly off the mark in population centers but that Trump is doing remarkably well in rural areasābetter than his predecessorsāwhich is helping keep him close statewide when it comes to the huge democrat city centers.

So I was at the mall waiting to pick up my daughter in a little while, so I slogged in to Dickās for the hell of it. I begin to peruse the gun counter, just window shopping no plans. Young sales guy walks up, definitely a melinial. First he says politely, āIs there anything you would like to see?ā I said, nah, I am just looking around.
Then he asks, āAre you planinng on stocking up just in case she wins?ā
I shared a good laugh with that guy. I canāt say I look like your average trump supporter or even your average republican. He doesnāt know who I voted for or even if I votedā¦
He did proceed to share some interesting recent experiences he had. He was telling me that his biggest customers lately were first time buyers who were expressed democrats. He was telling me that even though these people never thought about owning a gun before and weāre not āgun peopleā, and weāre likely voting for Clinton, weāre expressing fear that Clinton will take away their right to buy a gun, so they wanted to make sure they execised that right before she took it awayā¦
I donāt know if what he said is true or not, but it was an amusing conversation and restored my faith in humanity just a little bitā¦
