Election Day Thread

Um, because he was the governor?

I don’t know quite what I’m looking at, but that looks like a lot of people not just voting straight down the party ticket.

NYT now predicting Trump wins MICHIGAN

Trump doing well in Ohio.

Ohio and Florida. Clinton seriously underperforming Obama in key areas.

Agreed, especially when compared to how Obama performed in 2012.

thnx, couldve picked that up.

right now it looks cozy, although VA will be close

Na, I am all in for anti_Hillary and anti-anti-Trump.

If that means that a rodeo Clown with a surprisingly sensible program when it Comes to School checks. letting companies compete across state lines when it Comes to health insurance, and maybe Lance that festering boil of corruption that is Mordor at the Pottomac, um, Washington DC, is elected, well…

Which is interesting, because a lot of it isn’t that she is terribly off the mark in population centers but that Trump is doing remarkably well in rural areas–better than his predecessors–which is helping keep him close statewide when it comes to the huge democrat city centers.

If he wins Michigan, he wins the election.

Well, Ann Coulter called it, while Republicans desperately pandered to minority votes, only a slight uptick in White votes would carry an election.

the wall dammit-
I want it in US and A because then it might pop up later in E and U!

Health Insurance seems trivial compared to that since 90% of all new Europeans will do dick for health or pension funds.

Not quite, because Hillary is going to win Virginia I think. All the votes to come are from democratic strongholds and there are more than enough to counteract Trump

EDIT–narrowly counteract, but it can.

It is not about the Michigan vote per se, but if he can flip Michigan he can flip the Country.

Ah, ok that makes sense.

WI looks also great. So VA can go to Hellary

Now PA is predicting to go to Trump at the moment

Looks like it will be Michigan and Virgina.

And Ohio.

Both Carolinas.

Oi.

So I was at the mall waiting to pick up my daughter in a little while, so I slogged in to Dick’s for the hell of it. I begin to peruse the gun counter, just window shopping no plans. Young sales guy walks up, definitely a melinial. First he says politely, ā€œIs there anything you would like to see?ā€ I said, nah, I am just looking around.
Then he asks, ā€œAre you planinng on stocking up just in case she wins?ā€

I shared a good laugh with that guy. I can’t say I look like your average trump supporter or even your average republican. He doesn’t know who I voted for or even if I voted…

He did proceed to share some interesting recent experiences he had. He was telling me that his biggest customers lately were first time buyers who were expressed democrats. He was telling me that even though these people never thought about owning a gun before and we’re not ā€˜gun people’, and we’re likely voting for Clinton, we’re expressing fear that Clinton will take away their right to buy a gun, so they wanted to make sure they execised that right before she took it away…

I don’t know if what he said is true or not, but it was an amusing conversation and restored my faith in humanity just a little bit…

I have no idea who’s winning right now. I am watching ā€œToo Cuteā€ on Animal Planet. I can’t stand the peanut gallary. I will check in the morning. I just thought I would share my election day story…
