Maybe the raw material vendors are not but that isn’t true for other industries.
If raw materials and shipping go up - everything goes up.
Stacking on another 10-15% above your cost increase is not price gouging.
I admit I don’t yet fully understand the “like” hit frequency. You should be getting more. There are evidently a lot of people benefiting/enjoying from your posts but not contributing with even a simple like. Freeloaders!
The irony of this comment in this thread are beautiful.
Well its obvious you have no idea what you are talking about
Example?
But currency trading hasn’t changed.
First of all…you said federal taxes pay for nothing…federal taxes pay for defense, national social programs, wars, humanity donations across the globe, disaster relief, subsidities for corporations (farm, oil, renewables, etc), national parks, congress salaries just to name a few
Are you denying that certain industries have used inflation as a veil to price gouge?
I don’t make accusations when I don’t have grounded evidence. I do believe “gouging” at the gasoline pump would be risky at this time.
No they DO NOT. Federal taxes pay for nothing! Wars. Are you fucking kidding me? Trillions have been spent on wars in the mid-east. Do you really believe taxes are paying for this? Not to mention the trillions that were spent bailing out the banks.
What about before?
You and your logic. Stop being a rube

Then why does the government receive federal taxes?
I don’t know. It always seemed reasonable to me.
I follow the wholesale price of gasoline. In the past few years (about 10 years), typically the retail price of gasoline in my area of the country has been $0.80 higher than the wholesale price of gasoline. Conveyance cost and taxes, plus profit are added to the wholesale price. Also, there seems to be a 5 to 7 day lag time for changes in the wholesale price to be reflected in the retail price.
According to MMT to create the value of the dollar.
Is that the Mickey Mouse Theory
No, Mickey Mouse built himself a real business empire so his theory actually works.
