I have not heard or read anything new. Waiting for blockbuster year.
I recently put in an order to Biotest, thinking that my voodoo would work and they would release a new product 2 days after I bought stuff.
Sorry guys, my shit-luck magic didn’t work this time.

I thought shipping to Canada was a flat $25 no matter what size your order was? I’ve been thinking about placing my first order over the summer possibly, can anyone confirm/deny this?
I wouldn’t mind seeing an expansion of the liquid flavoring system. Just saying…

I’m pretty sure they’re making it a stand-alone product.
They need to make a flavor of the old Surge Workout Fuel Lemon Lime. That stuff was ridiculously delicious! I think everyone else who had the privilege of tasting it would agree.
I’d love for a clear flavoring. In general I hate food colorings and dyes in my food for two major reasons:
The practical- It makes spills or drips that much more annoying when you’re getting dayglo spots everywhere instead of slight discolorations.
The less practical- I feel insulted by food colorings. I mean, what the fuck am I, a 5 year old kid who’s going to be dazzled by all the colors of the skittles’ rainbow? Am I supposed to think that my artificial grape flavored “juice” is real juice because it has a purple coloring that happens to look nothing like any actual grape juice in existence and despite the fact that grape-- or any other fruit-named flavoring-- tastes like grape flavoring as opposed to any variety of actual grapes? I realize that for the many people who are accustomed to 100% processed diets food colorings seem completely normal to the point where they might feel weird without them, but for me it’s just a reminder that something isn’t of this earth in any natural sense. Emulsifiers and other texturing agents I understand-- they add to the mouth experience much like flavors do-- but food colorings do nothing for me except to piss me off. /endofcrazyrant
That aside, I do like the flexibility of the concentrated flavoring system and I’ll second the citrus request. It seems like citrus should be able to work with the acidity of hydrolyzed casein.
Yeah the orginal Surge workout fuel lemon lime was amazing. love a liquid flavoring in that flavor. Would love some more info on the new products too
My updated guess is definitely a DAA supplement, but one that somehow increases its efficacy through an additional ingredient (see: curcumin) or delivery mechanism (see: 11-t). It doesn’t make sense for Biotest to release a supplement that can be easily purchased elsewhere and has no market advantage. The only product within their arsenal that doesn’t have a clear differentiating factor is ZMA, and perhaps the Grow! Whey.
Maybe they’ve decided to get super edgy and include nicotine in a fat loss supplement. It would certainly work, but would be controversial.
Maybe a topical fat loss product. I don’t know. I’m always excited to see new Biotest products.
@ Silverhydra, thanks for taking one for the team.

On the other side of the crazy spectrum, I love the coloring because it is colorful. I like to drink purple. Colors are awesome, and I like to threaten my roommates with the dye solution on their clothing and/or eyes should they steal any of my supplements.

If they make a DAA product then my shit luck magic still works, because I recently doubt enough DAA in isolation to last me the summer. I actually bought resveratrol for the anti-aromatase for the DAA I bought from another source.
May I ask how does curcumin enhance the effects of DAA? That’s news to me.

Sweet!
I should have been more specific. Biotest’s curcumin supplement includes Piperine to increase absorbtion. My thought was perhaps they would use a similar strategy with DAA.
Although from everything I’m reading, it seems DAA is almost universally effective at increasing test, and users feel great for about a week, then their estrogen levels skyrocket. It would be wise of a supplement company to introduce a product that addresses that issue, in addition to maximizing the T boosting affects.

The s/h is a flat rate to Canada, sure, but FedEx then charges around $30.00 (depending on size and province I assume) for their own fees. I always assume around $50-60 to ship to me and base my orders off that.
Yeah, D-AA is a tricky little guy.
Only one human study so far, a myriad of amazing anecdotes, then BAM man boobs.
From what I have read, aside from the expected increase in E that would normally come from T D-AA is also able to increase activity of aromatase directly. It has been noted (in non-humans) to increase estradiol levels in the ovaries and the testes (the latter of which is independent of testosterone levels).
Kinda expected from an instrinsic sex hormone regulator actually.

Interesting…I wonder what kind of difference adding in OTC products like Rez-V would have.
Generally ‘feelings’ are not a perfect indicator to what’s going on, but if there truly is a delay between DAA increasing T and E, perhaps it could also be cycled or used strategically instead of every day, depending on how quickly the favorable effects occur.
dont get your hopes up… its been 6 weeks or so and nothing already? I was holding out on placing an order till I could see what the new stuff was but ended up just saying F it, and ordered yesterday.
Shugart mentioned a new protocol (hopefully with new supps) in a livespill recently. Teases, all of them!

his first comment after the actual post
“…I’m also part of a new supplement testing protocol which may require me to switch goals to see what happens”
In the context, I believe he’s referring to being in a fat loss phase, and this supplement protocol would require him to switch goals - this can only refer to switching his goals to…
Managing a small grocery store.
A couple of spills from TC in his article today:
“@greggio, thanks for the props. Great concession, by the way. As far as supps that change body comp, keep a look out for a spill from Thibs regarding that kind of thing. Keep a big eye out for it.”
“@mtwelve, in a very small nutshell, I cut my lifting down to 3 days a week and spent another 3 biking up a small (1,000 foot) mountain. Two training days are “Mountain Dog” style, while one is a day of heavy lifts (40 sets of 3 for a total of 120 reps on 5 different whole body movements). I also started testing a new supp, and against all BB dogma, I cut my meals down to 4 (horrors!).”
