Ha! I was all bummed reading about it until I got to this, which cheered me right up.

So there was a beat officer and a detective on the scene that day. The beat officer said I was the aggressor, but the detective said he was. He outranks the beat officer, so the prosecutor isn’t sure how I ended up getting a ticket anyway, but she wants to do her job. She offered 180 days deferred adjudication on the assault and failure to appear, but I don’t want assault on my record at all because of the custody case. They reset trial for November. The prosecutor is going to look at the videos and get back with my lawyer before then. I was home in less than 30 minutes.

I snoozed a couple of times, so there wasn’t any cardio time today. I’ve lost almost 5lbs this week. I’ve eaten the same thing every day
7:00 AM Breakfast: 4 scrabled eggs, 2 Jimmy Dean sausage patties, and 1.3 ounces of cheddar cheese
11:00 AMLunch: 3 onces walnuts, a bag of red grapes, and 170 calories of 85% dark chocolate
5:30 PM Dinner: 2 beef hotdogs with BBQ sauce and cheddar cheese

I really enjoy all of that. The lunch keeps me very full until dinner, and I don’t really have any desire to snack after that.

I’ll bet! If I ate that menu for 7 days, I would gain the 5 lbs.

Maybe I’ll write out my food for this week (the repeated stuff) when I log. Because that’s really interesting.

It’s fascinating to see what we all settle on, especially those of us that eat a repeating diet. We all end up having our own particular leanings.

@doogie , I’ve had this dialog before on a different log, but because our language is a silly one, I’m curious:

When you write “hot dogs” here, do you mean hot dogs

Or do you mean hot dog

I won’t even get into asking if the first one is considered a sandwich or not…

Hot Dog definitely includes the bun for me. By itself it would be a weiner.

Went to Saltgrass Steakhouse last night and had a really good meal. It was fantastic. Didn’t gain as much as I anticipated, even though I didn’t poop yesterday.

The people who work out Friday nights are total asshats. Every Saturday morning the gym is just destroyed. The rest of the week it’s great. Saturday it’s a nightmare.

Could be that Friday night is not staffed as enthusiastically.

I don’t know. I have a home gym and the people who lift Friday nights are also sloppy assholes who leave a mess…

They’re here at my gym on Tuesday mornings, too. I’ve been thinking it was a staffing issue. Lol

Staff shouldn’t have to strip bars, pick up plates off of the floor, and rearrange all of the dumbbells because asshats put them in the wrong place.

Sadly, I am both the sloppy asshat and the lazy staff.

I got distracted by the husband before I posted this, had a conversation about cleaning vs doing fun things, and just called a cleaning service (literally midway through cleaning the house) to schedule bi-weekly.

Hopefully the new staff will do a better job than the old.

Have had some sleep issues this week that have thrown a wrench in things. Coming off of Ambien after years and years of daily use.
