Doctor Recommends Dropping AI Completely

Any clue which measurements were used? Like pg/ml?

I guarantee there is no study using 30 as a bottom number for benefits. Most studied identify high E2 as above 40 or above 42.5. A low E2 study would be using a number defined as below the currently accepted range, which is a lot less than 30.

You are aware that no part of that statement is verifiably true, right? AI’s remove E2, By extension, if they remove too much of it you would have issues associated with low E2, but it would be factually incorrect to leap from the effects (long-term) of low E2 and unequivocally state them as resultant from AI use in general at any level.

I’m 42, been on TRT almost 2 years and take 40mg EOD (140mg a week) and have never taken an AI. My doc doesn’t check E2, but I did on my own a month ago.

TT was 1192
FT 231 (23.1)
SHBG 27
E2 sensitive 41

Some would say E2 of 41 is high, but I don’t remember a time in the last 20 years where I’ve been this horny and where I was ready and able to have sex nightly. There was one stretch the beginning of June where I had sex 10 times in 8 days. Heck, I’ve had sex 3 times in the last 2 days now that I think about it.

I’m not changing a thing… Except maybe to up my dose and try a blast at some point, but I need my nutrition in better order before doing a blast.

We’re all different though. You might respond differently than me and every other person.

I find slightly more estrogen improves mood and libido, if it gets really high libido is gone and sad movies turn me into a crybaby. If you have a strong libido and are not crying during sad movies, then it seems your body will do fine with estrogen slightly above normal.

what is considered normal?

The range for my sensitive test was “< OR = 29”. I guess that’s “normal” for the sensitive test?

No it doesn’t that is just not true. That is only if you take too much. There is so much confusion on this subject here. You see that in studies on women, because they are using up to 10mg per day. Yes you heard that correctly, 10mg per day.

So yea if you bottom out your E2 your bones are going to turn into styrofoam, this has nothing to do with the anastrozole by itself as studies on men show bone density through DEXA scans is fine.

This myth needs to DIE

Lack of symptoms is normal, symptomatology suggests something is abnormal.
