The mission was to oust saddum. Mission accomplished.
The war has actually been over for a very long time, yet they still call it a war.

Bombs are still being dropped. IED’s are still going bang. Child suicide bombers are still going boom.
The war continues.
Whatever the mission actually is dumbfounds me.

Nouns seem to be tough opponents.

Not surprising…we’re protecting your ass! Without the USA sending reminders to the world’s scum, they’d be all over you. Remember Japan, about 1942? “No one would ever cross an ocean and bother Australia!! No, never!!!”
You’d be speaking some sort of mongrel Japanese/English without the United States of America. And Orion would be speaking mongrel Russian/German.
All you guys are lucky that America is the moral champion of this world.

Yeah, I get it.
To prevent people from attacking you, you kill so many of them as it takes that they cannot not regard you as an enemy, therefore creating a self-fulfilling prophecy.
The deeply dysfunctional logic of a schoolyard bully or a sociopath, backed with a nuclear arsenal.
Charming.

And now for a completely different story:
During the last 20-30 years, while Americas financial elite was busy robbing the middle class via inflation, robbing foreign investors by selling them worthless IOUs and fortify their position by gobbling up real assets like real estate and commodities, the unwashed masses were entertained with horror stories and wars that were meaningless in the end, so that they would not be able to even recognize the extent of their betrayal before it was to late.
Who in this story was the moral champion of what exactly is up to you.

Using THAT as your reasoning – and I can’t believe some people still do it today; it boggles my mind – is like saying that when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor we should have gone and invaded Australia.
That’ll learn 'em!!!

Are you saying just let someone destroy the towers in new york and attempt the pentagon and not respond in any way,

Oh really there were japanese bombers being protected in australia, then by all means yes.
aiding and abbedding is a crime.
so in war it would be an act of war.

You remember the days when words used to mean things?
Like when a war was between two nations and not between a nation and every word in a dictionary it did not like?

Fixed it for you.

Rainman is a dick, but at least he’s a functional intelligent dick.
You, on the other hand, are just a fucking idiot, with no real redeeming qualities or signs of intellect.

You, are brilliant…obviously. The fact that you can’t understand what I said makes you an idiot.
Diplomacy is NOT getting the other guys to like you. It’s coming up with solutions to problems that favor OUR side…bottom line.
I stand by my statement.

Be careful, they´d kill or intern all women so that there´s noone left to hate.
