Which country are we referring to. The democratic socialist party in the USA have very few members.
They aren’t really democrats either, they lean closer to the realm of communism but use the name “democratic socialist” in order to appear somewhat more mainstream.
I don’t think they’re a threat, without a looooooot of propaganda most people aren’t going to affiliate with such extremes.
