Different Goals for Upper & Lower

I understand the whole “ONE GOAL” thing, but what if you have different goals for your upper and lower body? I personally want explosion in my legs but size in my upper body. Is it possible to combine a program for strength in the legs and core with a program for mass in the chest, back arms and shoulders? If not, which would be more logical to do first?

Sure, why not?

often time with mass, strenght comes if your doing it right so i would say yes to your split similiar plans

in fact you’ll be better off this way. since leg exercises (specially explosion/high weight ones) increase the whole growth hormone, testosterone and etc of all that good stuff

How long have you been lifting, if it’s sub half a decade size and strength will come together regaurdless of if you train for it in only one part of your body.

Build stength

^is a good article

I don’t really understand why you just don’t train for strength, size will come with it very easily.

true, especially the first few times you train a muscle you havent before, in my experience ive made incredible size gains considering the time it took.
