Diet/Nutrition

Hi
I have been lifting for about 2 years 3 times a week and then do Hiit/boxing/K bell twice a week.
In terms of diet I would eat clean Mon-Fri, try to eat lots of eggs, brown rice, chicken breasts. The weekends 3/4 beers Fri 3/4 Sat and one cheat meal Sat eve.

I have got bigger and stronger though I’m not as lean in terms of Body fat as I would like. I tried using my fitness pal and If it fits your macros to stick to a diet plan in terms of macros and calories but with three kids/work/etc that end I do find difficult.

As I say I do eat clean, drink plenty of water etc but to move to the next level will I need to be “forensic” with macros and if so are there any diet plans that allow for 200g protein a day?
Thanks
Conor

Sounds like you need to skip the beers and pizza, but I think you know that. Also generally kids will eat whatever you make them, so maybe put the foods that fit your diet goals in front of them and see what happens.

You must have some awesome kids. Every kid I’ve ever known is super picky: no crust on the bread, only certain brands of food, just the right amount of spread, etc.

Sure.

Two ways to fix that. They don’t get anything else to eat as an option than what everybody else eats, or they don’t leave the table until they eat it.

I’ll tell you this: I wouldn’t worry about it either way.

For OP: you didn’t tell us your height/weight or your strength levels. You might be perfectly normal, or even smaller than you should be and simply thinking like an anorexic wanting abz0rz.

If you honestly are a fattie, then you know what you need to do. Drop the beer and pizza.

But I don’t think you are a fattie. That you didn’t give us numbers makes me think it’s all in your head.
