Defy Medical New Ownership

I got the same. Haven’t decided whether I’m going to take them up on it but I may just for the sake of having some extra T laying around

My fiancé uses them and so does my good friends wife.

My fiancé tried calling for a month trying to get an answer about her therapy. She was experiencing odd cycles and her time of the month came sooner than usual. She also needed more info on when to stop her progesterone.

Did they ever answer? Nope.

Did they answer her about her progesterone ? Nope.

Did the nurse give her less dose than what the doctor told her to take on the phone during consult? Yes.

I can’t wait till we’re married and she can leave town and see my doc. Until then this is her best option.

Defy are just a dispensary nothing more. I’m not exaggerating. My friends wife has the same issues. They are horrible if you have any questions after the consult. They want you to pay for another and another. They simply don’t give a fuck.

This is a Hormone mill and the are not taking any effort to care for patients. They just want to get you for consult $$$ and the rest is out of sight out of mind.

I also was on both calls with the girls and both times SAYA and caulkins gave too little thyroid hormones. I told them “the half life is so short. Why not 3 times or 2 times a day”. They both agreed.

So the fact is they don’t care about our well being. Why give someone thyroid medication just to crash midday? It’s kind of ridiculous imo. Ids not like they said no and only take it once a day. They fully agreed it should be taken twice daily.

So both my lady friends feel great ? Yes. They thanked me for opening my mouth. Now we are waiting for a consult in regards to progesterone: we cannot get a simple answer without paying more money. how fucked up is that?

I think Defy generally prescribes SR T3 or slow release T3. I will say that the Dr I was talking to knew his stuff. I learned quite a bit from him in the consults.

I agree with you on that it seems like they are after your money. Everything is more money. I decided to self administer after a year with them.

I’m thinking about it too. Not that they’ve done anything wrong, but I know what you mean… sucks to hang up 45 mins into the hour you paid for and remember something you wanted to ask. You can always email them but if you want another consult you’re going to have to pay for it

Once dialed in it’s pretty much lab tests I can get on my own and T that I can get cheaper easy enough

It’s getting test that worried me. My plan is blood work to verify dosing.

Damn that sounds enticing. Just got my refill, but that’s something to keep in mind

Thank you. Email sent

I’m about ready to switch to your doc :man_shrugging:

Trust me they don’t know what they are doing. The fact that the ya re prescribing a slow release t3 proves it. Idiots. T3 is supposed to be fast and t4. Like armour thyroid it’s absorbed right away. Trust me these doctors know more than most, but they don’t care to offer the best therapy based on pharmacology of the medicines they prescribe. If they did, they would find the right starting dose and frequency. Not one size fits all “well we give everyone 5mcg a day and we increase from there”. They don’t care to give someone with a really bad thyroid level more than someone who has a better.

Anyways you get it.
