I’m actually glad this thread came back to life a year later because this whole concept of getting a bike is actually becoming more intriguing to me as time goes on. By nature I am a fairly conservative kind of person… I’m a lawyer and we just tend to be that way. Too much time spent analyzing risks, you know.
For some reason, the one bike that just seems to grab my attention whenever I see one is a Ducati. Not totally sure what it is, but I begin to salivate a little like one of Pavlov’s dogs when I see one.
However, the advice in this thread is very sound and very much appreciated. I really have no desire to pull tricks or do anything incredibly stupid… just find a very cool release and that sense of freedom… and just have some damn fun.
