Hey, all bush voters have u seen fahrenheit 9/11? might want to check that out, and before u go on a rant about it being some leftist propagandha remember that all the FACTS are true because if they werent he mr. moore would have been sued by bush for misrepesentation of facts and defamation of character.
j.boogie:

You obviously have just enough knowledge about common law torts to be dangerous, but no familiarity with our Constitutional protections. Please go read New York Times v. Sullivan, a United States Supreme Court decision on the rights of political figures to press common law torts of slader and libel w/r/t political speech, and then come back with any questions you may have.

Boogie: You’re right about me, anyway --I have no idea who your prime Minister is. Sorry. And really it’s okay to type the word “you” all the way out.
Lothario:

Don’t be too hard on yourself – unless I missed something, he would have to specify the country in which he lives for any of us to know who its Prime Minister is.

However, I suppose one could infer he’s from Canada, in which case the answer is Paul Martin. Prior to that, it was Jean Chretien, who was a virtual “Teflon Don” in his ability to avoid getting tarred by the scandals that occurred during his tenure in office.

BTW, Boogie, I suggest watching Fahrenheit 9/11, and then immediately popping Fahren-hype 9/11 into the DVD player – that would provide a nice contrast for you.

For your further edification, I present an article written by an admitted left-wing scientist criticizing the “hockey stick” graph which is responsible for the global warming paranoia:

http://muller.lbl.gov/TRessays/23-MedievalGlobalWarming.html

He comes right out and says that he thinks that our CO2 emissions are going to be the greatest pollutants of our history, but he also admits that the “hockey stick” has some serious flaws. There are all kinds of reasons to jump to conclusions about things like this. Fame, funding, political motivations, etc., all play a factor in modern science.

I think it’s a shame when we forget that science is not gospel, but just another business.
BTW, as long as I’m commenting on this thread again, here’s a good article on the questions surrounding the “hockey stick”:

And here’s one specifically looking at climate models trying to tie global warming to increased hurricane activity:

turbot33, I liked your letter. Don’t feel obligated to argue with the Bush supporters. They are obviously unaware of all the “fucked up” (I honestly couldn’t phrase it any other way) things that went on during his presidency. You will not convince them otherwise because they refuse to accept that our president could do such things that would benefit him personally and not the public. Just let them believe what they want. Those of us who aren’t patriots, because we question his practices, will be the ones who can sit and appreciate a letter like yours.
Keep in mind that most of his votes come from the rednecks and the wealthy (and you and I both know why).

This is quite funny to me. It is very clear that movie was heavily edited. I have several friends who lean to the left who were pissed that it was edited instead of presenting actual facts.

I saw an interview with Michael Moore saying one of the reasons for making this movie was he was tired of people making money off 9/11. That seems ironic since that is what he did with this film.

The above is typical of most of your posts. Why don’t you tell all of us exactly what President Bush did that was “criminal” so far during his Presidency.

I’m waiting…

He doesn?t know. Like many foolish people his politics is based on gossip and conspiracy. Not logic and reason.

Notice the snobbish statement about rednecks? Again a liberal is stating they are superior then others, and that is why they should be in government.

Also I am confused about including the rich, which means Kerry voted for Bush.
