Deadlift Form

Shitty angles, but this is all I got. Any advice would be fine.

I feel like I’ve got short arms, so my hips and shoulders end up being very close, instead of hips below my shoulders like I’ve read. I don’t max deadlift ever, and only deadlift >80% heavy every once in awhile.

This is 315x1.

405x1

I think speed pulls and explosive training ala the conjugate system have really helped my deadlift. Form kinda sucks though. Feels good when I’m doing it, but then I see it on video and it looks like it’s all lower back and I’m not using my legs at all.

Dark background + dark clothes + allkindsofshitintheway make it tough to see. I can tell you that your hips are way too high, though. Looks like your back may be rounding, too, but again, tough to see.

Yeah, it’s shitty. My phone has no other place to fucking stand in my barn.

Back rounds a little, but nothing to be concerned about. Lower hips would probably be better. Stubby arms.

You train in a barn? That is fucking awesome!!

Are there animals hangin’ around and whatnot??

Used to be horses and cats. All gone now though. Just lots of spiders and mean, stray cats.
