Are they in a queue for the toilet? They all look like they are dying to take a pee
[/quote]
That reminds me…
Hey Nards, could you repost the vid of those idiots at the mall waiting on line for over 15 minutes to take the elevator up one flight?
That always blows my mind.
Thanks

wasn’t that a line for the gym?

I think you’re confusing the vid I describe with a popular photo of dudes taking an escalator up to a gym entrance.
Either way, it’s ri-goddam-diculous (in the words of John Wayne).
lol

Here it is…now I must add that the building is 8 storeys so I’m hoping most of them were waiting to at least go up to the 8th…but I’ve learned here not to be surprised if some only went to the second floor.
Asia’s weird in that you see lines for stupid shit. Sure we all have to wait in line at the bank or airport, but most of us would balk at waiting 3 hours for donuts (I’ve seen that) 1.5 to 2 hours for Cold Stone Creamery, and up to 25 people in line for whatever tiny free sample at Costco.

This picture is not mine…but I have one somewhere in my computer just like it but even longer…I’ll find it later.
Unbelievable, Nards.
Crazy, lazy Asians.
Frank Yang is a human anomaly, but he ESPECIALLY stands out among his own people. ![]()

A HA! I found it! This is the pic I took of my subway station.
Look at that! JEEEEEEESUS!!!
At least in that failblog one I posted a couple up there are a few people walking up the stairs. In my pic that line is about 30 people long an I see it most everyday and maybe 1 person in 50 will walk up the stairs.
And before any smart asses chime in yes…I walk up…usually I walk up the escalator(as the left side is open; people have to go on the right side of it if they want to stand still)

I just do not understand this reasoning.

My pet theory that is not at all in any way meant as an excuse is that Asia is more divided between working class and the people with a profession.
So because of that it seems like physical labor and even exercise are frowned upon.
Sure people here would like to look good, so many will go to the gym, but I have seen stuff that would make you almost think you’d stepped over into the Twilight Zone.
On Friday past there was a personal trainer that was working out in his free time doing 5lb DB pullovers. Yes…5 pounds! I’ve seen him before doing DB bench starting with the 5s and I decided to withhold judgement till I saw his final set (maybe it would be 100s…who knows?) nope…top set both times I’ve seen him do DB bench has been (you’ll think I’m joking)…the 35s.
The thing that makes it so silly is almost everyone in the gym makes sure they’re wearing lifting gloves, maybe a belt, elbow sleeves and those Nike shirts that are skin tight with some sort of plastic X sewn into the back. I mean they have to make sure that what they wear screams out that they know the gym. I mean if you just wear shorts and a T shirt you could be doing anything (I say facetiously).
I see 23 year-old or whatever people that aren’t obese walking on the treadmill at 0.8 kph…that’s not even half a mile an hour.

Given that the right-wing seems to want to go back to that era, I’m surprised that some of the candidates didn’t use that vid in their campaigns.
lol

Asia is such a crazily interesting place and all I’ve seen is pics, videos and stories from the internet. I wanna see it with my own eyes!
Yeah, Asia is great in many ways but also some wacky stuff. The driving really is terrible. I’ve seen about 40 to 50 accidents here, just as a pedestrian.
There are so many videos on youtube with driving so insane that you hope the idiots got some sense knocked into them.
I have a buddy that is learning how to walk all over again after being hit by some guy who ran a red light.

You should try driving in Naples, southern Italy Napoli Piazza Garibaldi Traffic (1) - YouTube
This video is pretty tame.
That’s fucking awful!!
Nards you should narrate movies. Your voice makes things interesting.
