I had a similar experience with an ex.
She punched me in the face, then in the stomach, which really pissed me off since I have had 3 major abdominal surgeries.
She told me that if I retaliated, that she would call the cops and have me arrested. I was on Federal probation at the time, I would have probably gone back in the clink.
