Insect Wars had a pretty wild episode of wasp vs. bee. A handful of wasps can take out 100s of bees at their hive, but if a wasp enters the hive, the bees surround it in a ball, many dieing, until the temperature rises high enough where the wasp dies. Bees have higher temp. tolerances.
