I know where the comic artist is coming from in that I will go for a couple of runs a week…but only about 3 or 4 miles…if I go higher than that it’s like an asymptotic curve and I keep getting hungrier and hungrier and certainly don’t lose weight.

I like going for runs occasionally. Then again, I was never fat. Skinny, yes, but not fat. I think the worst part about it is that the average fun runner who does it for his/her ā€˜health’ will (as the cartoon puts it) see it as an achievement and ā€˜reward’ him/herself.

as Dan John put it, you simply can’t outrun a bad diet.

(you can’t outlift it either btw)
