I never really liked John Lennon much and I think he was a big phony.

i am glad you said it. i thought that guy was full of shit and so did my mother, who is a beatles fan. she said when she was a teen she bought a book of john lennons and read the whole thing then threw it in the garbage.
this guy cheats on his wife and abandons his son and he gets away with it.
i screwed up the quote function. you need
…
guys
It’s amazing that there’s actually a ‘Downfall’ video out there that’s suddenly innovative.
I feel like I would have hated this ferociously if I had to see the damn movie scene again.
The Streets of Rage part was hilarious.
Ass missles or something like that. I kept watching the games because they brought back memories, and missed all the subtitles. Get it in English next time.

Ash is hilarious as a character, I think they took him out of the American release though.
It’s from a german faux biographical film called Downfall, “Der Untergang” originally. It chronicles the final days of Hitler’s life, anyway it’s a popular youtube subtitle meme where they take the famous scene and put in non-German subtitles under it to make it seem like Hitler is getting pissed off at something totally unrelated.
Case in point.
Anyway, it’s practically a given that it’s in German audio for continuity’s sake.

Do you know how that looks like if you actually speak German?

Same shit all over again, every single time .
The “indirect game” one was still hilarious.
I’m glad I dodged the bullet on that one, I had a college acquaintance that almost fostered into a girlfriend that was deeply into languages, German was one of her favourites and she was in the midst of teaching me the basics of it when she shat inside of my heart, I burned all memory of her, along with her German lessons. At the very least I can still appreciate a popular Hitler meme due to my linguistic ignorance. I should learn more languages though, maybe after French and Japanese.
