Pyramids were not built on slavery. They’ve found evidence it was built by sheer pride of the people, who had many boring months per year when not farming, they carved on the blocks the names of their teams like “The Fast Cutters” and the “Big block movers” and stuff. I think this is an important lesson for people to learn - the people felt part of something holy, eternal, and just frikkin awesome.

That doesn’t prove that slaves didn’t happen, it just proves that slaves were proud.
True, you could call them slaves, even though they were paid and free men. Then again you could call anyone a slave.
The carvings weren’t the proof, just an example of how happy they were. There was a lot of evidence of rivalry/competition between different groups.
