My favorite are 27 gauge slin pins 1/2" long. Great for delt pins, cheap (but harder to find than 29s so that is what I’m using), they fill a lot quicker than 29s, but feel almost like nothing.
29s are just fine. They just take longer to fill. You can get these on Amazon for like 100/$15.
Ever get a lump type thing where you did your glute? Just checking if that’s fine. Just red, itchy skin sometimes, and like a small lump if that makes sense
So my first 2 pins were great, third one I had the issues where I think I went in on an angle, last one was good but after like 2 days the area got a little hard.
As I recall Doug Beaver was in the running a couple of years for the Mr. America. He was very vascular, but seemed to lack the muscle separation needed to beat the best. If he lived to 75 that’s not that bad for a fairly heavy man. Maybe he highly dosed only a few years. The body is remarkable at repair itself.
hmm it definitely hurts less than hot candle wax… what’s your needle length/girth recommendation? I chose 21 because the oil squirts through without much effort. also I thought 1.5" was standard for glutes…
Back in the dark ages when I was still doing glutes I used 25g 5/8” (for VG) and only rarely did I stray from that. When I was using a very pip-unfriendly primo last year I had to rotate a lot more, so DG shots had to be done with a 25g 1” because I’ve got thicc girl backside.
It’s not red or anything, but my first two were fine and ever since then it almost feels like it’s swollen but it only lasts like two or three days it goes away
How do you know you’re penetrating muscle. I don’t have much fat on my glute so I stick 1inch straight at 90 into my ass, it doesn’t feel any different going in. I’ve been told I should feel it get tough when I get to the muscle.
Do some side laterals with your free hand on your shoulder. Find that meaty delt and just jab in the middle of that. Probably have a little DOMS like sensation being virgin muscle. If tomorrow is shoulder day I’d do it after the workout.
What other enhancing supplements have y’all taken, recommend, or are you taking? What would you take after 12-16weeks of Test and a 4-6 week pct? When would you start again after completing the first full cycle?
