Yessir . . I think I’m doing something right food wise as the scale has stayed the same over the past 4-5 months, hovering around 212-214, but my shirts have definitely gotten tighter in the shoulders/chest region

I picked up a turkey breast at the grocery store last evening for next to nothing as it was marked down due to needing to be sold by that day . . cubed it up and cooked it and added jasmine rice and salsa . . that was breakfast this morning along with a piece of a porterhouse steak from last evening
lunch will be smoked brisket and mashed potatoes from the Mennonite deli in town and supper will be bone-in pork chops and chicken thighs on the grill with more jasmine rice

really dialed in with the BB rows . . this was definitely a longer session, was there every bit of 90 minutes . . arms felt huge, have to share

thanks man! Just trying to be like you. It looks like most of your sessions are super intense. You train at home, correct? I go to two different gyms and it’s just amazing to me how so many people lack any sort of intensity at all in their workouts. I’m talking 80+% of people I see when I’m there just haphazardly get through a set of lat pulldowns or whatever and then scroll tiktok for 5 minutes before their next set and never even break a sweat their entire time there.

Yes sir! Andi appreciate that! I train in the garage 90% of the time! I totally know what you mean and that’s part of the beauty of training at home. I just have my phone on the table, connected To the sound system and write all of my sets into my notebook just as Dorian intended lol

Week 6 Creeping Death 2 - Chest/shoulders

H.S. Machine chest press:
3x10 w/102.5lbs each side

Flat BB bench:
5x5 w/275lbs

Machine flyes:
4x12

Smith machine shoulder press:
4x6 (lifted explosively)
supersetted w/
Db laterals:
4x10 w/27.5s
not sure of the actual weight on the shoulder press as this was my first time using this particular smith machine and the empty bar was a lot heavier than the standard 15lbs

Tricep cable pushdowns:
3x10 w/150 stack

Tricep cable overhead extensions:
3x8 w/120 stack

later workout today as we camped out at the river last night and then the daughter had a couple horse show events this afternoon; that was ok as there was only one other person in the gym at this time . . had 4 eggs, a protein shake and a handful of blackberries for breakfast . . two turkey thighs, a bowl of rice and a little smoked ribs leftover from yesterday for lunch . . two grilled pork chops, another bowl of jasmine rice and a banana, oat, whey, peanut butter powder shake about an hour preworkout . . and am about to grill 4 lamb chops and a grass fed NY strip steak with more rice for supper

had a wicked shoulder pump before I left the gym

for being dialed in like I’ve been I sure wasn’t feeling it today . . not sure why . . had my 10y/o daughter with and had her do some KB deadlifts, split squats and Db rows . . she enjoyed it . . probably going to make that a weekly occurrence

I was the same. Been destroying it in the gym lately but today I just wasn’t feeling it. Everything seemed hard. Might be a lack of sleep the last few nights? Oh well, one more day tomorrow and then three days off training as I’ll be traveling. Might catch a hotel gym WO but more likely I’ll just get cardio in.

Hammer strength shrug machine:
4x8 w/390lbs & 2 sec pause on each rep . . felt really strong on this today

Db hammer curls:
3x15 w/20s

an hour on the dot this morning . . feel great . . had a scoop of Surge intraworkout . . double scoop of whey isolate when I got home and just finished an 8 ounce Ny strip steak, 3 poached eggs, a slice of sourdough, half a potato and a fresh local peach . . I love breakfast . . chicken thighs and jasmine rice for lunch

yeah she wants to play softball next year (we have horses and she rides a couple times a week now) so I told her she should start working out and she asked if she could go with . . so I think she’s going to go at least once a week going forward and hit a little legs and back

had to go semi-early this morning as the boy had to get up the road to get weighed in for football at 930 . . had a scoop of Surge intraworkout but was super hungry when I got home so I had 5 eggs with salsa and cheese, two big slices of homemade zucchini bread, two lamb chops and a whey, oat, banana, peanut butter powder smoothie . . wasn’t hungry after all that
